Withdrawn Players

It is a normal occurrence for players to withdraw from the league due to injuries or personal issues. The information below will assist both players needing to withdraw as well as players who were scheduled to play the withdrawn player.

Players Needing to Withdraw

We are sorry you have to withdraw from the league. If you have sustained an injury, we hope you have a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back on the courts. Please review Canceling Play and Injuries for details regarding withdrawing from the league.

I'm Scheduled to Play a Withdrawn Player

If a player has withdrawn from your division it will be noted in red below their name. If you were scheduled to play a withdrawn member we provide several options to assist you in scheduling and completing your season.

  1. customer service. This will prevent you from using your late pass.
  2. Reporting a current average. Go to "Report Scores" on the main menu and select the option "I am defaulting my opponent and want to receive my current average".

In addition to the options above, we will work very hard to fill the opening left by the withdrawn player. Should we find a replacement player to take the spot, you will be given option of playing the replacement player if you so choose. Should you decide to play the replacement player after already reporting scores for the Withdrawn Player, you are given the choice to keep the better scores for yourself. Example: If you took your average against the Withdrawn Player and then elected to replay the match with the Replacement Player and won. You would be allowed to change your scores to reflect the win. See Replacement Players for further details.

Note: If you have an opponent who is not listed as withdrawn on your schedule and is not committed to playing their scheduled matches, please contact us. If we find they have withdrawn, or are not committed to league play, we will remove them if necessary.
