Court & Guest Fees
Ultimate Tennis matches can be played at a variety of public and private facilities. Every facility has different rules on access and pricing. Most private clubs and large public tennis centers that have a staff and a reservation desk will usually charge guest fees. Non staffed courts at public parks, neighborhoods and apartment communities usually do not.
Each league member is responsible for covering their portion of the court fees for both home and away matches.
When you play at an upscale private club with premium courts and amenities such as locker rooms, showers, pro shop, food service, etc., you should expect to pay a higher guest fee than other facilities. This is not unreasonable.
When you are the guest at a private club, understand that the member or home court player has already pre-paid their portion of the fee through their membership and dues.
Private Facilities - Players should be prepared to pay a guest fee up to $10.00. If the guest fee exceeds $10.00, the home court player must cover the remaining fee.
Public Facilities - If a public facility charges court fees, both players are responsible for covering their own fees.
When scheduling your match please inform your opponent of any court or guest fees that are associated with your facility. To find out more read Court/Guest Fee Theory
