Playoff Availability
Early Rounds
Teams must be available to play at least two days of each playoff round. Please do not play early rounds if your team will be unavailable to play later rounds. Defaults ruin the tournament! We understand that all players would like to compete in the playoffs, however it is not fair to other members to have a team play a few rounds and then default. Teams who intentionally play knowing they will be unable to complete the entire tournament are subject to league suspension.
Driving
Teams that choose to participate in the playoffs must be prepared to drive further than during the regular season as you will be competing against teams from other areas. The higher seeded team will be awarded the "home court" advantage. All players must respect the home court team's choice of venue and court surface.
Championship Round
In a market with a set Championship Match location, players must be available to play all day due to possible scheduling changes and rain delays (this is standard tournament procedure). We have limited access to courts at the host facility therefore we cannot schedule matches around other leagues, tournaments, sporting events etc. If your team is not able to be available the entire day of the Championship round we ask that you mark your team as "unavailable".
